Mission Statement
"To ensure people with Disabilities and their Families have a voice of advocacy,
And to equip them in empowering their lives!”
The Staff of Kirk Advocacy
While Kirk Advocacy and Consulting, Inc. is a new company founded in 2008, the president is no stranger to the field or the work. In the nineties Greg Kirk was asked to contract for a job with a service center as a support coordinator. Not knowing what that job description really was he began doing what he had been doing for years, advocating for people in need. Though people in state government told him he could not call himself an advocate he always looked at his job as being one and built a successful company on the principals of advocating for people with disabilities.
Greg has been involved in many projects involved in getting people out of institutions, conducted psychological examinations, as well as individual therapies in both private practice as well as the state system. Greg has worked with several Department of Family and Children Services in Southwest Georgia.
Greg Kirk received his Masters Degree from Troy State University @ Dothan, Alabama. He is a native Georgian who has lived in several parts of the state but Southwest Georgia is his home. He is a single father of two children who both live with him. Greg is most proud of the work he has done as a Dad.
Kirk Advocacy and Consulting was founded in 2008 to be a voice for people with disabilities and their families. My desire is to have a strong unified voice for all people receiving services from state systems.
