Greg has served on the Georgia Association of Community Care Providers since 2006, Currently he is the President of The Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia.

What We Do

At Kirk Advocacy and Consulting, Inc. we consult with businesses that provide services to people with Developmental Disabilities.

Our CEO, Greg Kirk, has worked in the field of Developmental Disabilities over 15 years. He ran a successful business that provided services to over 3200 people with Developmental Disabilities in Georgia.

Projects we have worked on:

1. Assessing people with DD who are coming out of state hospitals.

2. Money Follows the Person. Helped develop assessment process for people coming out of nursing homes.

3. Assisted new providers in getting their approval from DBHDD.

4. Completed first training of Community Guides in Georgia.

5. Participated in the first group of Support Intensity Scales and was one of the first Master Trainers in Georgia.

6. Consulted with advisory group for DBHDD.

7. Consulted with providers who were going through difficult audits.

8. Helped providers recondition their service delivery system and make it more efficient and person centered.

9. Provided training for mental health professionals on how to work with DD clients in therapy.

10. Developed daily documentation tracking that helps providers better track daily services.
